![]() ![]() However, when being used as an ISP burner, the Burner board’s USB-to-serial chip does NOT want to talk to the bootloader to install code in the Burner’s main chip. Normally, this is fine as it restarts the processor and runs the bootloader code which can then receive the user’s program via the serial port from the USB-to-serial chip. When using an Arduino Uno to program the bootloader code on another board, there is a pesky little problem to solve: the circuitry on the Uno is hardwired to perform a processor reset when data receive is started from the USB port.
